Memorial Contributions
Memorial contributions are a simple, loving way to remember your favorite pet or a loved one. You can make a donation of any amount in someone's name, or you can purchase a brick in our Memorial Garden for $100. The brick can be personalized with three lines of text, up to 13 characters per line (including spacing). Just download the Memorial Garden brick form and mail it – with your check or money order for the number of bricks requested – to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, at 1661 Nicholas Road, Dayton, OH 45417.
Yes, I'm interested in a brick in the Memorial Garden.
Dog-Park Fund
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton provides one of the city's only safe, leash-free environments for dogs of all sizes. Help ensure that this important park remains a valued part of the community. To support the dog park, you can contribute any amount.
Dog-Kennel or Cat-Cage Sponsorship
Receive a plaque with your name, honoree, memorial, etc. on it. The plaque will be mounted on a cage for the duration of your sponsorship. Cat-cage sponsorships are $500 for one year, and dog-kennel sponsorships are $1,000 for one year.
Pet Sponsorship
Not able to adopt right now, but looking for a way to help? Do you want to put a face to your donation? Consider sponsoring a pet! Pet sponsorship offers you the opportunity to have a "virtual pet," while simultaneously supporting the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. The average sponsorship is $500, which is based on the average stay of an animal. The costs associated with an animal's stay include intake, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, vet services and the housing of the animal until it is adopted. On occasion, there may be an animal who needs special care, due to an illness or injury. These occasional circumstances make some sponsorship amounts greater than $500.
